Whatnot Shelf

What-not shelf with collage of extracts from some of my pictures.

One of my earliest projects in Photoshop that evolved with my learning experience over some months till I was finally satisfied it wouldn't get any better with further tweaks.

I originally shot the shelf at a Brussels flea market with a Canon EOS 100 + EF 28-80 USM on Ilford 400 ISO black & white print film.

Whatnots, all shot on 35 mm print or slide film, were scanned on a Canon FS 2710 film scanner, then digitally isolated from their backgrounds and added to the colored shelf image in Photoshop 4 with lots of shadowing effects and lighting edits.
