I just got my 16-35mm lens and as I couldn't put it down, thought I'd just try going in super close. Which is why the proportions are on acid and Mel's wishing I'd just get the camera out of her face...

And just to finish off any grip on reality, I did it with 2 bracketed shots and processed them in Photomatix. Which works for me better in monochrome as I find the colors often distract from the HDR effect when it's done subtly.
