Waterburst

This was shot with self timer counting down to zero, at which precise moment I burst the water balloon with a pin. Took 10 frames to be sure, and this is the only one where all the elements came together. Did it out on our patio in front of a sheet of blue paper. Never got so soaked in my life.
Shot on Fuji Reala 100 ISO color print film, negative scanned to Photoshop. This was the first image I ever had published in a magazine: Amateur Photographer (US).

No post processing was used for the final image.
